NEAL MYRICK
Neal Myrick is on a mission to help people, companies, and institutions solve world problems using state-of-the-art philanthropy and social impact investing. Drawing on his early career as an IT leader in the private and nonprofit sectors, Neal spent the last decade developing a deep understanding of using philanthropy, data, and technology to help communities solve problems and thrive.
As the founding head of Tableau Foundation in 2014 and recently the Vice President of Transformative Philanthropy at Salesforce, Neal has had the opportunity to draw on his diverse background to innovate and experiment with non-traditional philanthropy and to build creative global partnerships with large foundations, United Nations agencies, and public and private sectors. Over its eight-year life, Tableau Foundation received numerous impact and innovation accolades while investing more than $100M in 120 countries.
Neal is an active angel investor in green tech companies and has philanthropic experience in global health and development, racial justice, homelessness, food insecurity, climate action, and gender equality. He is currently on advisory boards for Untraditional Philanthropy and CEPEI, a global think tank in Colombia. Neal has participated on diverse international advisory boards, including Digital Square, the Digital Connected Care Coalition, the World Food Programme Innovation Advisory Board, the World Health Organization Technology Council, and the Global Partnership for Education Data Roundtable.
